Women Build with Habitat for Humanity

A graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in communication, Jesika Streit has experience in multi-million dollar project management, marketing, and business development. Alongside her career, Jesika Streit volunteers with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing across the United States and around the globe, Habitat for Humanity has supplied numerous families with the opportunity to achieve independence by furnishing them with affordable homes. In order to complete its work, the organization relies on the efforts of countless volunteers and donors.

Habitat for Humanity also hosts special volunteer events such as Women Build. This program, founded in 1981, empowers women to have a positive impact in their communities by teaching them skills required for home construction.

Women Build events take place across the United States and internationally, including in countries where female home ownership remains a challenging topic. For more information about the program or to find a local Women Build event, visit www.habitat.org.
